On Sunday December 21st 2025 Former Model Turned Renowned Choreographer Reuben P. Joseph Launched A Fashion Show of Various Fashion Designers In Support of A Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign Which Was Organised By Him As A Survivor of The Disease. It Was Called The ‘Unity of Love’ In Awareness For Prostate Cancer. We Strutted Our Stuff Down To A Local South Norwood Bar To See Style & Fashion And Models In Motion And Take In The Pre-Christmas Power Posing Presentation For A Cause Close To His Heart @rpj.modelling.

The Fashion Was Fabulous, The Models Were Great, And The Designers Being There Meant There Was A Definite Buzz In The Air. However There Was Just One Thing Missing. The Audience. The Special Guests. And The Live Entertainment. OK…, That’s Quite A Few Things Missing Actually!

As Reuben Himself Later Admitted Exclusively To TheOrator.Press (TO.P) Monthly Online Education Magazine, A Lack of Marketing, Promotion And Publicity, Meant That It Was Not The Successful Awareness Campaign It Could, Should, Or Would Otherwise Have Been.

He Explained That He Was Let Down By A Number of People. We’ll Mention No Names But Suffice To Say A Fashion Show Awareness Campaign With Only The Models, Designers And Organisers In Attendance Is A Let Down All Round. And When The Venue And The Associate Presenter As Stated On The Poster Claim They Were Not Properly Consulted About Being Officially Included On Said Poster, That Indicates A Major PR And Communications Breakdown Disaster.

The Takeaway From This Audience Free ‘Runway’ Is Pre-Planning, Powerful, Purposeful, Particular Attention To Detail, And Confirmation of The T & Cs (Terms & Conditions) Are All So Very Important For Any Social Enterprise. As Is Marketing, Promotion And Publicity To Ensure The Event Has Audience Members And Guests. Especially If The Event Poster Advertises Holding A Competition Amongst Such Audience Members And Guests To Award The Best Dressed Amongst Them (Which In This Case of Course, Under The Circumstances Did Not Manifest).

Timing-Wise It Was The Sunday Before Christamas, Which Arguably May Have Been A Bad Decision or A Welcome Distraction. But Christmas Is A Time For Charity And Giving, And The Last Day of Christmas Shopping Is Christmas Eve, So The Event Had Alot of Sales Potential That Was Not Tapped Into. Also No Doubt With The Inherent Expense of Attending The Event Some Attendees Will Have Been Left Out of Pocket, Not To Mention The Loss of Fundraising Potential. @prostatecanceruk

The Idea, The Concept, And Intentions Were Good. But We Know What They Say About The Road To Hell! The Clothing Industry Has Before Now Presented Clothing Events In Support of Charity And Indeed Continues To Do So. M & S For Instance Earlier This Year Ran Such A Campaign. But It Was Supported By An Associate Social Media Push, Dedicated Publicity And Marketing. Even Though Their Resources Are of Course Totally Different, The Fundamental Business Principles Remain The Same. Attention To Detail, Good PR, Proper Preparation, Clever Marketing And Advertising, Is The Name of The Game. @prostatecanceruk

It Seems There Were Some Schoolboy Errors A’Plenty Comparable To The Kind Viewers See On BBC’s Business Show ‘The Apprentice’ Under The Watchful Eye of The Business Experts @prostatecanceruk

Nonetheless The Show Must Go On And As Far As ‘The Fashion’ In ‘The Fashion Show’ Went It Was Hot, Happening & Inspiring! It Has Indeed Inspired Us To Highlight The Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign Right Here. Right Now! So Well Done Reuben For Making The Effort. Alot of Effort By Alot of People Clearly Went Into The Event. It Was A Great Fashion Showcase. And It Was For A Good Cause. And It Was ‘A Good Effort’ By Everyone Who Turned Up To Support It On The Night. @rpj_Modelling

Whilst At Least Welcome Drinks For The Organisers, Designers, Models And Select Attendees Were Non-Existent (Which Seems Something of An Ironic PR Faux Paus Given That The Event Was Held In A Local Bar), Credit Where Credit’s Due As The Complimentary Caribbean Food Was Magnificent. It Was Organised By Reuben, Served By Caribbean Husband And Wife Team Ermine Barrett And Dean, And Provided By Hunter Catering @huntercatering. Together They Pretty Much Saved The Day In Terms of Boosting Team Spirits (No Pun Intended).

Also Saving The Day Was Designer ‘Drumzz’ @Hashtagdrumzzclothing1 Who Sat Down With TheOrator.Press(TO.P) For An Insightful Interview Regarding The Development, Ethos And Name of His Designer Label. He Was Somewhat Camera-Shy And Insistent On Leaving The Limelight To The Models, But He Was Also Funny, Charismatic, Charming And Sharp As Off Camera He Shared Firsthand, The Story of His Sartorial Journey To Making His Mark In The Fashion Industry.
