Water (H20) Is The Elixir of Life And Evian Is Encouraging Us To Drink More of It For Good Health
And As Well As Urging Us To Look After Our Bodies It Has Invested In A New Sustainability Campaign Urging Us To Look After The Enviroment By Stepping Away From Single Use Plastic In Favour of Refillable Bottles And Domestic Dispensers. “Refill. Rehydrate. Repeat” Is The Slogan Devised To Encourage Everday Behaviour Changes Amongst Players, Crowd Members, And Those On Walkabout And Out And About. And At Home They Have A New ‘5LBubble Bag’ That Inserts Into A Stylish Neat Compact Dispenser (See Above Video).
The Campaign Has Even Been Approved By The Carbon Trust For Its Carbon Neutral Credentials @carbontrust.

And Then There’s Refreshment of A Totally Different Kind…

Ladies And Gentlemen, Please…If You Are Opening A Bottle Of Champagne, Don’t Do It As The Players Are About To Serve

Australian Chair Umpire, John Blom, Court No.3, Day 7, Wimbledon 2023

Umpire Tells Wimbledon Champagne Crowd Not To Pop Their Corks At Critical Times On Court. Here Here. Well Said! This Was During A Third Round Match Between Two Russian Players Mirra Andreeva @mirraandreeva (16 Years Old) & Anastasia Potapova (22 Years of Age) @anapotapovaa, Day Seven of The Tournament (One Week In On The Sunday). The Crowd Laughed & Applauded!
Wimbledon.Com Have Included Blom’s 2023 Request As One of The Quotes of The Tournament.
A Previous 2018 John Blom Intervention 5 Years Ago Was Not So Well Received By The Usually Very Affable And Entertaining French Tennis Player @iamgaelmonfils After Australian Blom Reportedly Complained To The Tennis Star That He Was Playing Too Slowly Between Points After Orignally Complaining Him He Was Playing Too Quickly @Roland Garros 2018. Monfils Ultimately Lost The Match. Monfils Is Famous For Loving To Play Tennis & Entertain The Crowds With His Supreme Physical Tennis Skills Which Come Naturally To Him And He Loves Sharing.
This Year Monfils Was Back At The French Tournament Enjoying His Tennis Like His Usual Self. And Indeed Like A New Man! Husband! And Father!
He Became A Parent Recently After Marrying Fellow Tennis Player, Ukrainian Elina Svitolina @elisvitolina. By Her Own Admission That She Did Better Than She Expected At The Tournament This Year. She Then Caught A Certain Music Star’s Attention. One @Harry Styles No Less! The Former ‘One Direction’ Front Man Invited Her To Pick A New Concert Date As She Could No Longer Attend The Original Gig On The Day She’d Planned As She Was Still In The Tournament Longer Than She Anticpated.
The Very Disturbing Case of A Dedicated Tennis Umpire Who Advocated Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Allegedly Fired After Reporting His Own Experience of Racial Discrimination & Harassment From Racist Tennis Umpires

In 2018 Former Tennis Umpire Anthony Nimmons Filed A Law Suit Against The USTA (United States Tennis Association Claiming That He Was Fired After He Reported A Number of Incidences of Racial Discrimination From His Colleagues Despites The Being Fully Aware He Was An Advocate For Divertisy Equality And Inclusion In Tennis.
Nimmons Who Had Been An Umpire For Over A decade, Having First Professionally Umpired In 1994, Outlined In His Law Suit That He Had Been Called A Series of Racist Names By Particular Colleagues And Was Claiming Unspecified Damages.
Nimmons Had Attended The Grand Slams And the Lower Ranking Events Throughout is Career. He Declared That He Loved Tennis And Wantd His Job Back At The USTA.
Following An Initial Investigation By The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission It Was Concluded That There Was “Credible Evidence” of Discrimination And A “Right To Sue” Letter Was Appropriate (Which It Duly Issued).
At The Time A USTA Spokesperson Replied “USTA Strictly Prohibits Discrimination And Retaliation In Its Workplace” And “We Categorically Deny The Claims Of Mr. Nimmons And Will Vigorously Defend The Suit”.
TO.P (TheOrator.Press) Is Reaching Out To His Lawyers For An Official Update On The Current State of Play.
Meantime The Williams Sisters Have Detailed Their Various Experiences of Racism & Discrimination (Including Initially From The Crowd & Repeatedly From The Press) In A Number of Documentaries And Films During Their Career. In 2021 The Hollywood Film King Richard About Being Trained By Their Father, Played By @Will Smith, Was Released. Because of Williams Family Resilience A New Generation Has Grown Up Only Knowing The Williams Sisters As Part of Wimbledon.

There Are No Official Lessons How To Do This…
Sir Andy & Nazanin’s Incredible Political Encounter Evokes Memories of Mandela & Poitier

In 2016 Andy Murray Won Wimbledon For A Second Time, Finished The Year As World No.1 In The Singles, And World No.1 In The Doubles – Partnered With His Brother Jamie @jamie_murray. That’s The First Time The Latter Has Ever Happened In History.
Political Prisoner Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe Was Finally Released From Virtually Six Years Imprisonment In 2022. She Revealed That Watching Murray’s Success At Wimbledon That Year (Having Had Fluke Acess To A Telly) Helped To Keep Her Hopes Alive. He Subsequently Invited Her To Wimbledon So That She Could Watch The Tennis In Totally Different Circumstances. That Is So Moving It Brought A Tear To Our Eyes.
Nazanin’s Dedicated Husband, Richard Ratcliffe, Who Campaigned So Hard For Her Release In Her Absence, Did Not Appear To Be With Her At The Special Occassion.
Before Nazanin’s Experience As A Political Prisoner Being Inspired By Watching A Real Celluloid Story From The Outside World, The Story of The Late South African President Nelson Mandela Having A Comparable Experience of Inspiration During Political Incarceration Has Also Been Told.
At The 1968 Oscars The Film In The Heat of The Night Won Best Picture And Also Best Actor For Rod Steiger. Sidney Poitier Won A BAFTA For Best Foreign Actor. In The Film A White Racist Man Slapped His Detective Character And His Detective Character Slapped The White Racist Man Back. Reportedly Political Prisoner Nelson Mandela Heard About It And So Wanted To See It,
So That A Clip Was Smuggled Into His South-African Prison For Him To Watch. During Apartheid!
It Reportedly Helped Him Survive His Notorious 27 Years As He Was Inspired To Believe That The Progress He Fought For Was Beginning To Happen Outside. It Was Infact Such A Ground-Breaking Hollywood Moment It Was Banned In Several States. Poitier Was A Revered Actor With A Reputation For Being Debonaire And WAs Also A Dedicated Civil Rights Activist And Who Eventually Became An International Diplomat.

There Was A Stunning Water Installation At Wimbledon This Year, Which Featured In Their New Carbon Neutral Sustainability Video Along With Various Players Engaging In The Company’s “Refill. Rehydrate. Repeat.” Programme Designed To Reduce Single Use Plastic. How The Water Feature Technically Chimes With The New ‘Sustainability Drive Is Not Yet Clear. But It Looked Amazing & We Look Forward To Learning More & Sharing With You. Meantime Sometimes It’s Just An Illusion @evian.

Lanson Is The Official Champagne House Sponsor of Wimbledon & Has Been Serving Up The Bubbly For Over A Decade @champagnelanson

Djokovic Wins @Roland Garros June 2023 (He Now Has 23 Grandslams To His Name). He Came Prepared, Like The Sporting Superhero That He Is
