The British Government Crest

Hosted Just Beyond London Bridge, It Proved To Be An Artistic Success And Positive Business Enterprise. This Proved To Be An Extra Special Achievement In The End As At One Point It Began As An Art Exhibition With No Art!

On The Preview Day Due To Bureaucratic International Travel & Transport Delays The Paintings Were Not In Place. But This In Itself Proved To Be A Great Business Lesson In The Importance of Proper Preparation, Pre-empting Practical Problems And Problem-Solving.

Fortunately Perserverance And Important Paintings Proved To Be A Powerful Combination And The Art Eventually Arrived Allowing Both Visitors & Artistic Entrepreneurs To Enjoy A Positive, Productive & Poignant Experience!

Dignitries & Leaders Proved Loyal And The Event Culminated With A Celebration of Kenya’s 60th Anniversary of Independence At Lancaster House, In London.

This Classy Cultural Kenyan London Collaboration Took Place Just A Month After King Charles III Enjoyed A Four Day Tour of Kenya On His First Visit To The African Continent Since His Coronation Earlier This Year, In The Spring On Saturday May 6th.

Here TheOrator.Press (TO.P) Showcases The Event With A Selection of The Artists’ Paintings, Video Clips From The Curators And Comments From Visitors

The Kenyan Government Is Combining The Swahili Word Meaning ‘Talent’ & The Swahili Word Meaning ‘Money’ To Highlight Its New Art Initiative Policy ‘Talenta Hela’ Dedicated To Growing Its Creative Industry. The Policy ‘Talenta Hela’ Is Designed To Boost The Kenyan Economy And “Put Money Into The Pockets” of Upcoming Entreprising Artists. This Is By Encouraging Them To Open Their Minds And Imaginations Further By Embracing The Concept of Art And Finance, A Notion Long Since Recognised By Affluent Art Collectors All Over The World.

Some Art Collections Owned By The Great And The Good Around The World Are Worth Millions of Pounds.

The Idea Is That An Initial Programme of Government Sponsorship And Support Will Allow Them To Showcase Their Work, Build Creative Platforms, Develop Networks, Promote The Kenyan Brand And Then Venture off On Their Own, Armed With New Skills, Confidence, Connections And Commercial Competencey For The New Emerging Creative Industries. In Addition This Is All With Regard For The Sustainability And Awareness of Climate Change.

In This Spirit It Deployed A Delegation of Ambassadors & Artists To Launch The Inaugural Exhibition of Kenyan Contemporary Art Running From Tuesday November 28 To Wednesday December 6th 2023 At The Bermondsey Art Space London. The Event Was Followed By A Reception At British Government’s Diplomatic Enterainment Venue Lancaster House In Anticipatory Celebration of The Upcoming 60th Anniversary of Kenya Independence Day (On December 12 2023 #jamhuriday).

Comment: With Respect To The Concept of Art & Entreprise, The Creative Economy, Art & The Fashion Industry, Art And Sustainability, TheOrator.Press (TO.P) Has To Say How Much We Love These Shoes By @bettiezackafricana. We Discovered Them Whilst Doing Some Research. These Designers Also Make Their Shoes For Gentlemen Too. The Gents Shoes Appear To Be More Minimalist Art Though As They Are Not As Decorative As The Ladies So Far, But They Are Nonetheless Still Fabulous. Like All The Artwork Here!

Comment: We Love The Way Niarobi Based Artist Melissa Joe Signs off This Digital Art Work As ‘MoJo’ Something Which We Note She Does Not Always Do.
