The Artworks Highlighted In The Background of Some of The Photos Taken Look Stunning And Really Help Give A Sense of How Vibrant, Warm And Welcoming This Relocated Gallery Is. We Sense That The Radiance of Racheal And Her Family Has Alot To Do With It. It Was A True Pleasure And Inspiration To Attend And Meet Them All And We Thank Rachael Again. As Well As Meeting Rachael’s Daughters It Was A Pleasure To Meet South African Artist Lunell’s Daughter, Eliska, Too (Photographed Wearing Gold Coloured Bling In Front of The Max Hembrow Painting ‘Awakening’ In Our Third & Final Photo Gallery, Where Her Mother Is Too – In Green & Red Kimono, And Peter Burego’s Painting ‘The Moon Did Shine’ Is In The Gallery Window). @peterburegastudio maxhembrow.com All Artists And Their Profiles Can Be Viewed On The Noon Powell Website NoonPowellFineArt.Com

Rachael And Her Husband Ben Were In Attendance At The Spring London Battersea Affordable Arts Fair (March 16th-19th 2025) Last Month (Where TheOrator.Press Met Them Thanks To Eliska Doing Some Great PR Work On Behalf of Her Mother Lunell Which Inspired Us To Attend After Hearing About Her Work). They Will Also Be Attending The Spring London Hampstead Heath Affordable Arts Fair Next Month (May 7th – 11th 2025) Where They Will Be Showcasing Other New Additions To Their Gallery Portfolio Such As Max Hembrow’s New Collection of Paintings Which Includes A Piece Featuring A Sensual Trio of Women Called ‘Awakening’ And A Similar Piece Called ‘Transendence’.

TheOrator.Press (TO.P @theorator.press.on.insta) Was Excited To Attend The Noon-Powell Richmond Gallery Launch After Accepting A Kind Invitation Extended By Rachael, Who Told Us How She And Her Husband Discovered The New Site Late Last Year One Day When They Happened To Be Strolling Through Richmond.

They Were Previously Located In An Upper Floor Studio In Notting Hill (Since 2018). Although That Gallery Was Also Situated In A Premium Area of London (Famous For The Annual August Afro-Caribbean International ‘Notting Hill’ Carnival And Infamous For The Julia Roberts And Hugh Grant Film – Which Was Called ‘Notting Hill’ But Totally Excluded Afro-Carribean People), The Fact That The Gallery Was Not On Ground Level Meant That It Was At A Disadvantage In Terms of Capitalising On The Full Potential of The Area’s Footfall.

At The New Gallery Racheal Is Now Looking Forward To Experiencing The Difference In Geographical And Geometrical Dynamics With Passersby Now Being Able To View The Gallery’s Artworks In The New Gallery Window, New Window Shopping Potential, And Members of The Public Being More Likely To Pop In And Partake In Impromptu Viewing of The Different Inspirational Artworks.

With Richmond Park And Its Iconic Footbrigde Across The Thames, The Fine Dining Ivy Restaurant And Bar, Marks & Sparks, Jamaica Blue Coffee House And The Italian Pizza Parlour Franco Manco, To Name But A Few Iconic Places Just A Hope And A Skip Away From The New Gallery, It Makes For A Great Day Out For Any One Who Fancies Going Strolling Too One Day And Taking In Some Culture Along The Way. You Never Know What Inspiration, Large Treasures Or Little Gems You Too Might Find.

South African Artist Lunell Kruger Was Not At The Battersea Affordable Art Festival When We Visited On Saturday March 15th 2025 But We Viewed Her Artwork There And Fell In Love With Her Painting of The Lady In The Blue Feather Headwear (Next To Her In Our Photo Gallery Below). It Reminds Us of The 1920s And The Flappers With Their Exuberant Dances And Dresses. Also The Lady In The Pink Floral Headwear Somehow Reminds Us of Royal Ascot. @AscotRaceCourse @LunellKruger

So We Were Excited To Meet Her At The Gallery Opening This Month. She’s Mid 70s And Fabulously Still Youthful, Sociable And Unstoppable. She Was A Joy To Talk To. Currently Residing In South London With Her Daughter She Lives Between England And South Africa, Where She Was Born In The Rural Area of Transkei.

She Will Be Attending The Affordable Art Fair UK Hampstead Heath Next Month. Hampstead Heath @affordableartfairuk

Her Speciality Is Mixed Media Printmaking Combining Digital Images With Cultural Symbols, Signs, Textiles And Patterns, Using Technology To Re-Create Powerful Images of Global Social Significance. This Includes Reflecting Concepts Such As Identity, History, Sprituality, Connection, Past And Present.

Kruger, Who Studied Drama In Pretoria, South Africa, Went On To Teach Acting, In Zimbabwe. However Since 1990 Fine Art Has Been Her Passion Having Been Blessed With A Natural Creative Gift, Including An Eye For Colour And A Talent For Composition.

She Created ‘Fabrix’ Her Own Acrylic Paint For Handpainted Interior Design Stylings, Which Resulted In Alot of Media Attention, International Export Demand, A Video Guide And Eventually A Series of Seven African Design Books (Acknowledging Indgenous Art, Artefacts And Origins) Which Retailed Throughout South Africa, The British Museum And African Book Stores In London.

The Dictionary Hostel Commissioned Her To Create A Collection of Two Dozen Digital Artwork Posters Together With A Large Mural In 2013, Which Led To A Further Commission of Seven Paintings For The Astor Group’s London Hostel, Hyde Park,.

More Recently She Has Been Notably Busy Showcasing Her Work At Various Art Exhibitions (Including Lagos, Nigeria) And Is Thrilled To Have Recently Joined A New Set of Artists Being Showcased At Noon-Powell Gallery, Richmond. Approaching From The Direction of The Train Station, Turning off Richmond High Street At WHSmith (Oppostie Boots The Chemist) There’s A Quiet Little Private Residential Courtyard Called ‘Victoria Place’ And As One Exists This Short Passageway One Is Greeted With The Splendid Sparkly Sight of The New Noon-Powell Art Gallery On Red Lion Street, Directly Across The Road. It’s A Sight For Sore Eyes And An Artistic Treat. Enjoy!
