But The Hateful Words Spouted By Their Comedy Entertainment Choice, Katherine Ryan – Pictured Above, Came Across As At Odds With The Messaging Central To The Conference. Much of Which Was About Data Use For Empowerment (of The People, As Clients or Employees of Brand Name Companies).

This So-Called ‘Comedy Material’ Has Nothing To Do With Wokeness Curtailing The Ability To Perform Comedy (The Plenty Peddled Pity-Party of Some Comedians With Clearly Limited Comedic Ability).
It’s Simply Just Not Funny.
If A Comedian Turn Has To Put Another Group of People Down To Get A Cheap Laugh, Then Their Comedic Abilities Are Clearly Self-Evidently Lacking Skill.
Worse Still, It’s A Recognisable Classic Component of Racism.
Firstly, Denying, Minimising or Ignoring The Racist Rubbish Black People Have To Deal With Is Standard Racist Behaviour.
Secondly, Appropriating That Racist Hate (As Ryan Appears To Have Done Here) Takes The Racist Behaviour To Another Level By Distracting Attention Away From The Real Problem To Something Else – In This Case The White Woman As “A Helpless Victim”.
Thirdly, That Then Facilitates Taking The Racism To Yet Another Level By Fabricating An Excuse For Racists To Complain That They Are The Ones Suffering And That’s Why They Are “Angry”. As If “Fabricated Anger” Is A Legitimate Reason or Legal Defence For Racist Behaviour. The Very Same Racist Hateful Behaviours They Were Committing In The First Place.

She Was The Protagonist In A Real-Life Event Lee Lived Through As A Child In The 1930s And Later Immortalised In This Cherished Book.

A Great Feature of The Barbican Venue For This Year’s Annual Qualtrics Tech Conference Was The Fact That Delegates Could Simply Walk Out of The Conference Hall Directly Onto The Large Barbian Terrace For Some Fresh Air And Light Relief. That Made A Big Difference, Both In Terms of A Sense of Wellbeing And Also Networking And Mingling.

So Bearing In Mind She Knew Exactly Who Her Audience Was On The Occasion of This Corporate Event In The Heart of The City of London, In June 2024, It Raises The Question Who Exactly Was She Saying The Kind of Things She Subsequently Said In The Lefthand Column For And Why?
There Were Big Name Brands In Attendence. Employers. Leaders. Customers. Clients And Employees. Black Delegates. White Delegates. Female Delegates And Male Delegates.
Qualtrics Is An International Company. American Based. But This Was Not A Trump Rally.Or Was It? Did We Miss Something?
Or Has She Done Us All A Favour And Exposed The Real Truth In Real Time And Helped Us See That Behind The Glossy PR Branding, Big Brands Deep Down, Despite The Quest For Big Data To Help Make Their Clients, Employees, And Brand Associates Happy, Really Love Indulging In Chauvanism, Sexism And Racism On A Large Scale. Including At Upscale Events And On Day To Day Basisi In The Work Environment. Because That’s Who They Really Are Behind The Company Facade?
Her Was A Thirty To Forty Five Minute Set. We Were Frankly Bored And Left After About 15 Minutes of Gratuitous, Graphic, And On-Going Details of Her Sex Life Because It Become Tedious After A While. And Frankly We’ve Had Better! Comedians, Male And Female Before Her Have Performed Similar Shocking Sex Jokes With Greater Style, Skill, Class And Delivery Without The Vulgarity.
But It Was The Chauvanism, Sexism And Racism That Really Stuck In The Throat. It Has Inspired Us To Want To Do Some ‘Experience Management’ Aggregation of Our Own, By Getting Feedback From Other Comedians, Audience Members, Clients, Consumers And Employees In The Fullness of Time About This Kind of So Called Comedic Comment.
Coincidentally, In The UK A Notorious Sign Seen In The Windows of Many Establishments Throughout The Nation At The Height of 1950s-70s Racism To Which The Windrush Generation Were Subjected Was “No Blacks. No Dogs. No Irish.” As A Result It Is Widely Believed That The Black Community And The Irish Community Shared An Affinity. Yet Ryan, Who Proudly Acknowledges Her Irish Heritage, In Apparently Joking That ‘It Feels Like Nobody Likes White Women’ Appeared To Show No Empathy For The Real Struggles of The Black Community. Neither Historically, Nor Currently. Nor The Shared Irish-Black Discrimination History.

American 22 Year Old Gabby Petito Was Tragically Killed In A Murder-Suicide Killing By Her Boyfriend Brian Laundrie 23, In Summer 2021. In The Time That She Was Reported Missing Her Disappearance Became Both A High Profile, Regularly Repeated Coverage, National And International News Story.
Her Father Joseph Petito Persued Legal Action Against The Police For The Wrongful Death of His Daughter On The Basis That They Failed To Apprehend Laudrie During A Traffic Stop Which Could Have Prevented Her Murder.
Gabby Was Visibly Distressed, Injured And Crying At The Time of The Stop But Police Failed To Apprehend Bryan Laudrie Who Later Killed Himself After Strangling Her.
Gabby’s Parents Have Established The Gabby Petitio Foundation Which Focuses On Fighting Domestic Violence, Missing Persons, And Mental Health Issues. It Also Supports Campaigns To Help Make Sure Black Women Receive The Same Level of Attention When They Are Reported Missing. It Recognises There Is A Difference In How These Tragic Situations Are Treated By The Press And The Police, As Racism Manifests Even In The Midst of Such Tragedies.
