(And Armed With An Idiosyncratic Exit Plan If Necessary For When The Dulldom Gets To Unbearable Levels.). Plus There’s The CPD Aspect of Course (Continuing Professioal Development).

The Qualtrics XM (Experience Management) Leaders Summit At The Barbican, In The City, Sounded Interesting
From The Get Go Actually, As It Promised So Many High End Brand Leaders In The Room, “Break Out Events” And Networking In The Evening During A Post Conference Mini Mingling Session. We Reject Alot of Invites, Especially Via LinkedIn, But This One Had A Sense of Something Special And Educational About It So We Accepted. And We’re Glad We Did.
We Met Two of The Nicest Guys You Could Ever Wish To Meet Who Are Devoted To Tech ManagementAnd Development. They Have Been Working On Eradicating Bias In AI For Sometime Now And Have A Positive World View On How Things Can Improve. They Travelled To London From The North West of The England Especially To Be There. Newcastle. Affectionately Known As Geordie Land.
Famous Double-Acts From That Neck of The Woods Include Robson & Jerome, Ant & Dec, Nissan’s Electric Cars And Its Sunderland Plant. And Now Erdal And Daykin.
Steve Erdal Is A Durham University Literature Graduate Turned Linguist Data Scientist. Peter Daykin, Is A Cambridge Graduate And Web Designer. Wordnerd Is The Data Analyst Company They Founded Together. Along With Pete’s Wife Angela.
Nissan Was Their First Ever Client And Drove The Formation of The Company.
At 6ft 8′ Erdal Is A Big Boy. Dawkins Is of Average Height. Both of Them Together Are of Equal Stature When It Comes To Charisma. This Is A Business Bromance That Was Great To Watch And Be A Part of For An Hour or Two After This Year’s Qualdrics X4 LDN Leaders Summit At The Barbican This Month, Thursday June 6th 2024.
At The Post Conference Mix & Mingle There Were Copious Amounts of Champagne (Frankly Always A Fav’), Beer, Wine, Water, Canapés, A Couple of (Down-To-Earth) Super Bendy Cirque Du Style Dancers In Floaty Dresses, Wafty And Bending Throughout The Evening, To Much Amazement, And A Glitter Make-Up Stand. We Swerved The Latter. But Later We Noticed A Tall Gentleman, With A Slightly Shy Disposition Hadn’t. His Sparkly Rainbow Beard Gave The Game Away.
Intrigued, Following Our Own Glitter-Swerving Successes, We Asked If We Could Have A Word (Unaware He Was An Original Word Nerd). He Obliged. Shortly Afterwards He Introduced Us To His Business Partner Who Was Joining Him After Attending A Seperate Tech Conference, That Same Afternoon Where The Keynote Speaker Was The Ever Endearing Dr. Hannah Fry.
