A Love of Football
“Football Is Freedom”
Bob Marley

As Well As Photos Featuring Bob And His Love of Football, The Exhibition Even Includes A Foosball Table. Kinda’ Like The One Joey & Chandler Had In Friends.

Bob Loved Playing ‘The Beautiful Game’ And Many Have Said He Had The Skills To Make A Great Footballer Such Was His Talent For It.

The Barbell In This Photograph Highlights Bob’s Love of Exercise & Physicality. He’s Actually On A 1977 Tour Bus (Looking Like He Just Worked Out Or Intends To Work Out And Is Totally Chilled Out).
From being engrossed to his craft, you’ll find yourself opening your eyes to look deeper into the character that Bob Marley was to see he was satisfied with the life he was living. His love for football was so prevelant and played an important role in his life.
His love of the sport was recognised to the scale that in August 2021, Ajax Football team and Adidas collaborated with the Marley Family to create their third kit which payed hommage to the iconic song “Three Little Birds”. Since August 2008 the Ajax fans have been singing this song at every game and the fans sing the song whether winnning or lossing.
Ironically, It Was Whilst Playing His Favourite Passtime With His Band And Music Team, Against A Team of Journalists Who Were Covering His Performances Whilst Abroad, That One of Them Stepped On His Big Toe – Which Subsequently Kept Bleeding Profusely. That Led To Him Eventually Facing A Diagnosis of Foot Cancer. It Would Eventually Tragically Take His Life.
The Bob Marley Experience Reminds Us of the important Question Posed In Matthew “what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?” Bob remained true to who he Was throughout the journey of His Musical Destiny And Always Knew That “wisdom is better than Silver and Gold.” That’s Why When He Is Spoken of, especially In Jamaica, Where Respect For Him Is Everywhere, It Is The Story of A Legend That Is Told.
