TheOrator.Press Food And Drink Page Special. In Brixton A Blessing In Disguise Delivers A Memorable Night After Monique Anderson’s Marketing Magic Served Up Extra Spice And Stormzy Brought A Rock Star Suprise. August 2025
“That’s What I Was Meant To Look Like”
Filmmaker Tony, Friday August 7th 2025,
Bar Satay, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London, SW9
Before Visiting Brixton And Chilling Out With Tony @samaddavis Was Filming At The Aldwych, Just Off The Strand, Where He Had An International Assignation At The Luxury Rooftop ME Hotel, With Global Talent Agent @fi_q_fiona And Stunt Cordinator & Performer @spencer_collings (In Association With Top Hot Media Facilitator Topsy Balogun @mrtopnetworker)
TheOrator.Press Monthly Online Education Magazine Was In Brixton Earlier This Month For A Business Meeting Which Was Cancelled At The Last Minute. Beyond Dissappointed, Deflated, Frustrated, And Suddenly All Dressed With Nowhere To Go, We Soon Decided To Spontaneously Report On A Few of The Many Bright, Beautiful And Bold People In Brixton And See Why They Were There Too That Afternoon, As We Checked Out Some of The Amazing Venues.
Just Weeks Later Stormzy Subsequently Visited An Establishment That We Chose To Frequent As We Went On Our Afternoon Adventure. So We Were Thrilled To See One of Our Choices Being Vindicated By The Rapper And Local Community Champion (Who Hails From Nearby Croydon). William, The ‘Salpike’ Latin-Caribbean Restaurant Owner Was Extra Proud And Posted About The Superstar’s Visit On The Restaurant’s (New) Instagram Page. @stormzy@salpike_brixton
The Curry Goat Dish Was Delicious. They Serve It With Lots of Chunky Different Coloured Bell Peppers, Which Were The Most Tender Capsicum Chunks That We’ve Ever Tasted. They Literally Melt In The Mouth. Normally We’re Not Keen On “Chunks” of Anything But The Tenderness of These Vegetables Was Exceptional.
Also New To Us Was Indeed A Fruity And Delicious Pineapple Salsa, Which Along With The Homemade Salpike Hot Pepper Sauce Created A Special Latin-American -Caribbean Sweet And Sour Flavour Layer That Brought Everything Together, Including The Rice, Platain And Red Cabbage Coleslaw. It Was Totes’ Tasty! (Here At TO.P Curry Goat Is Our Favourite Dish of All Time And So Our Standards Were High).
Be Careful Though – Hot Pepper Sauce Is Not For The Faint-Hearted. Hence It’s Optional. We Opted In. We Love It. Like Arnie, We’ll Be Back!
In This Month’s Tech Page TO.P Highlights How Monique Anderson Magically Helped Turn Things Around For This Brixton Venue With A Tik-Tok Marketing Campaign Which Saw Designers (Literally) Stepping Up To The Plate On A Pro-Bono Basis And Various Offers of Assistance. It’s Success Even Made BBC Radio News @itsratedbymonique
Salpike Hot Sauce Optional (Opposite)! We Went With The Hot Sauce Because We Love Chillies (Especially Chilli Margharitas – And – Even Smooth Creamy Chilli Porridge).

Bar Satay’s Street Level Terrace Is Great For People-Watching-And-People-Spotting.
We Spotted British-African Filmmaker Tony Taking In The Brixton Scene With A Fellow Movie Maker, Who Travelled To Brixton All The Way From America.
Turns Out It Was None Other Than African-American Super Star Media Man Samad Davis (Who Apparently Also Loves Mayfair And Kensington Too. See Video Below)!
Fellow Filmmaker Tony Gives Samad Davis The Grand Tour of Brixton Via Coldharbour Lane, SW9, With Bar Satay on The Corner@sataybarbrixton. (On The Opposite Side of The Lane Is ‘Clutch’ – The 100% Halal, Smokehouse, Smash Burger House – @clutch_brixton Not Captured In Tony’s Video But Worth Noting As It’s A Popular Brixton Burger Venue).
Caption The GIF (Above Left) If You Feel That You Can Write A Short, Positive, Engaging, Witty Script To Go With Our Video Clip Which We Created During Our Impromptu Chat With These Filmmakers Who Met Up At The Long Established Cocktail Venue, Which Has Been Going For Decades Now.
Samad Later Posted About His Brixton Visit On His Instagram Page @samaddavis.
