TheOrator.Press Food And Drink Page Special. In Brixton A Blessing In Disguise Delivers A Memorable Night After Monique Anderson’s Marketing Magic Served Up Extra Spice And Stormzy Brought A Rock Star Suprise. August 2025

In The Final Part of Our Brixton Food And Drink Special Checkout The Recent Drinking Venue Recommendations From The General Manager of Brixton Village (Made Just A Few Days Before Our Momentous Visit, Which We Only Discovered Afterwards). We Visited Two Out of Her Ten Highlights (After Bar Satay As Per Page 2). They Were The Liquor Club Owned And Run By CJ And Healthy Eaters Owned And Run By Stafford And And His Wife Rose. So It Looks Like We’ll Be Returning To The Village Soon As There’s More Gastronomic Reporting To Do! (Stafford Is Pictured Raising A Glass And Brixton Village Patron Hugh Monty Allwood Is Pictured Sporting Cool Blue Sunglasses.)

Latin-American-Caribbean ‘Salpike’ And Malaysian ‘Bar Satay’ Were Not on Her List (But As Per Pages 1 And 2 We Did Happen To Visit Them). Then We Visited Two More Places Which Were Actually On Her List ‘The Liquor Club’ And ‘Healthy Eaters’. Both Are Great And We Look Foward To Visiting Again.

We Loved That Community Spirit”: It Creates A Very Friendly And Relaxed Atmosphere Where Different Customers And Owners Speak With Each Other And Intermingle With Ease. As If, Indeed Part of A Village. That’s Refreshing In The Current Political Climate.

Over The Years, Before Opening At No.6 Granville Arcade Brixton Village SW9 They’ve Had Pop-Ups And Fine Alcohol Exhibitions A Number of Times. It’s Been A Slow Journey And They’ve Finally Arrived. In Style!

What’s Great About This Bar And Bottle Store (Accessible Through The Courtyard Opposite The New Brixton House Theatre, 385 Coldharbour Lane @brxhousetheatre) – Is That It’s Also Opposite Salpike Restaurant (See Page 1) And Near Fish Wings And Tings Restaurant – Where They All Share Their Tables And Seating Area Between Them.

Customers Can Order Food From These Restaurants And Enjoy Their Drinks ‘From’ The Liquor Club, ‘At’ The Liquor Club! We Loved That Community Spirit.
