He Is The DCI That Led The Team That Apprehended Two of Stephen Lawrence’s Killers, Who Were Later Convicted And Given Life Sentences.

The Murderers Were A Gang Of 5 White Racist Young Males And Everybody Knew Who They Were. The Difficulty Was Securing Their Conviction. It Was So Difficult Only Two of Them Were Eventually Convicted And Given Life Sentences Which They Are Still Servin’ Now. That Dectective Chief Inspector Was Clive Driscoll. Driscoll’s Character In The Three Part Drama Series Was Played By Award Winnin’ Actor & Comic Steve Coogan.

He Believes The Values Of That Time Still Have Relevance Today, Notwithstandin’ That The Landscape Has Changed Beyond Recognition. Dixon Of Doc Green Has Been Progressively Superceded By More Gritty TV Cop Drama Series Such As The Sweeney, The Bill, New Tricks, NYPD Blue, Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, Blue Bloods, Luther And LA’s Finest. In 2011 The BBC Reworked DoDG For Radio. The Next Year Came Line of Duty With The First Episode Aired June 2012. Adrian Dunbar Who Plays AC12 Boss Ted Hastings Has Been A Sex Symbol Ever Since. Fictional Investigation Unit AC12 Clear Out Corrupt Cops.
In The Real World Driscoll Is A Police Expert And Has Proved His Commitment To Good Cop Policing. So Much So He And Baroness Lawerence Have Become Good Friends And He Sits On The Board Of The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation.
