The Four Weddings And A Funeral Star, A Great Modern Day Veteran of Stage And Screen, Has Himself Performed One Man Shows As Charles Dickens.
Stratford Subsequently Sufficiently Inspired To Read Macready’s Diaries. Interestingly Macready Was At The Esteemed Private School ‘Rugby’ But Had To Leave In Order To Support The Family Business When It Began Seriously Struggling. Nonetheless The School Now As An On-Site Theatre Named After Him In His Honour.
Stratford Lives Just Outside London. With His Wife And Kids. He’s Loved The Arts And Drama Since Being At School Himself. He Qualified In The Sciences But Did A Post Graduate Course In Dramatic Performance. He Is Now An IT Project Manager But Always Has Drama Production Projects On The Go And The Macready Story In Development For Many A Year Before He Shared It With The Public.
Covid Curtailed Things For A While But This Recent Run At The Brockley Jack Theatre, South London, Is His Second Successful Staging of The Play There. The First, Was 18 Months Ago. Our Visit Was On The Last Day of This Second Run.
