After Kinky Boots He Went On To Win A BAFTA Within The Decade That Followed, For His Starring Role In The Oscar Winning Movie 12 Years A Slave (2013) Directed By Steve McQueen, Who Also Won An Oscar For Directing It.
Seven Years After The 2005 Movie Iteration Starring Ejifor As Lola In 2012 ‘Girls Just Wanna’ Have Fun’ Singer @Cyndi Lauper And Writer Harvey Fierstein @TheHarveyFierstein Officially Gave Kinky Boots The Magical Theatre Treatment Which Hit The Chicago, Bank of America Theatre In October 2012, Directed And Chroeographed By Jerry Mitchell @JamMyProd.
By Spring 2013 It Was On Broadway At The Hirschfeld Theatre And Ran Until 2019. Meanwhile It Also Toured Throughout Both Britain And America. And There Have Been Different Productions, Performances And Acclaimed Performers Around The World In Between. Including Italy, New Zealand And Japan.
