TheOrator.Press Business And Tech Page. Unique Monique! Monique Anderson Is A Marvel At Marketing. PR Agency Founder Saves Restaurant Business With Tik-Tok Campaign Producing A Tasty ROI In Just Three Days. Much More Than The Month Before. Tasty! August 2025
So, In The First Week of July 2025 The Owner of Salpike (Pronounced Sal-Pea-Kay), William, From Columbia, Was Literally Using The Most Basic Lo-Tech Marketing Device Available To Him By Standing Outside His Restaurant And Telling Passers By How Good His Food Is.
Whilst Face Time And The Person Touch Are Important, Even He Was Aware That He Could Do With The Support of A More Contemporary And Less Singular Approach. However He Could Not Afford The £2000.00 Fee Requested By A Certain Influencer.
One Day Last Month, Quite Per Great Chance, PR Agency Owner Monique Anderson Was Passing By And Offered Help. She Did So By Launching A Tit-Tok Campaing Asking Local Designers To Help With A Branding Refresh.
The Name of The Restaurant Was Not Clear From The Shop Front And She Believed That Needed Immediate Attention. The Orange Exterior Was Also In Need A A Fresh Lick of Paint And General Refreshment.
Many Answered The Call But A Local Designer Called Clara Was Chosen. Designer And Hands On Painter Clara Teixeira Was Definitely Hardcore Helpful @clarazard_ (Video Second Column Opposite With Monique @itsratedbymonique)
Clara’s Response Was A Combination of Professioinalism, Specialism, Community And Compassion, As A Business Solution. This Proves That Business Does Not Have To Be Cold, Heartless And Soulless. It Can Be Mindful. This Perfectly Reflects Monique’s Company Ethos.
Both Women Were Agreed On Strategy, In Consultation With William, And So By Mid July Clara Revamp The Place Across Two Days With A Self-Made Bespoke Business Premises Stencil, A Ladder And Some Paint To Refresh The Exterior And Present The Name More Prominently And Clearly.
Monique Believes Branding Is Everything And That Without There Is Poor Brand Recognition, As Well The As Potential Customer Confusion.
So Alongside The Refresh Retaining The Simplistic Style of The Bar Restaurant Was Also Important. The Non-Corporate Feel With An Authentic Welcoming Basic Image, Was One Way of Resisting Gentrification, Which Continues To Be An Issue In Brixton. A Simple Community Friendly Feel And Appeal Genuinely Reflects William’s Personality & Culture.
It Worked. Within A Three Day Period Following The Relaunch The Restaurant Made More Than In The Whole of The Month Before. And Within The Month Stormzy Stormed By Much To William’s Delight! @stormzy@salpike_brixton
Monique’s Clients Include Make-Up Brand Elf @elfcosmeticsuk Where There’s A Gr8 Jamaican Love Story Involving A Damsal In Distress, A Goat, And A Jamaican Hero! We Love JA, Romance, Goats, And Er, Curry Goat (Salpike’s With Peppers Is Gr8!)
It Was Sunday.
I Was Planning To Close The Business By Monday.
I Met Somebody Called Monique Last Week.
I Say I’m Not Going Nowhere.
I Stay!
