Griff (Sarah Faith Griffiths) Was The First Artist To Win The Award Under It’s New Name ‘The BRITs Rising Star Award’ (During The Pandemic) In 2021. The Lockdown of March 2021 Meant The Event Was Delayed Until May That Year, Instead of The Usual February Time. Holly Humberstone Followed With A Win In 2022.

There Is A Long-Standing Traditional of Special Announcements Regarding New or Anticipated Talent At The BRIT Awards Each Year, Such As The BRITs Launch Show Series ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ And The More Recent BBC Radio Programme ‘Radio 1’s Future Sounds‘ Presented By @Clara Amfo. Previous Presenters of The BRITs Are Coming Include @Jonathan Ross, @Reggie Yates, @Maya Jama And @Laura Whitmore.
