Confidence Building. Communication Skills. Community Connections. Education. Enlightenment. Self-Empowerment. Social Engagement. Support.

In March We Interviewed A Visual Activist And Veteran Photographer Who Has A Photo Gallery Shop In Brixton And Has Released A Number of Photography Books Featuring His Work. Coincidentally Since Then We’ve Been Invited To A Number of Different Book Events And Experienced A Number of Different Takes, Debates And Presentations Featuring Various Different Books. As A Result We Began To Feel Strong New Bookish Inclinations. Although We Have Written A Number of Articles Featuring Books Before This Time of Course, Book Interest Never Previously Manifested In Such Quick Succession. Following This Manifestation We Are Simply Unexpectedly Further Inspired.

The Different Personality Types That Attend Book Clubs Can Be Fascinating. And The Debates Can In Turn Be Engaging. They Can Also Facilitate Improved Articulation, Better Vocabulary, Confidence Building, And Presentation Power. Plus, Depending How Well The Different Members Get On or Can Tolerate Opinions or Personalities Different To Their Own, They Can Also Be Quite The Surprisingly Enjoyable Social Hub.

What’s Not To Love?

Ok, Yes. Possibly Too Many Opinionated People Who’s Opinions You Don’t Agree With, Regular Pressure To Read Yet Another Book Within A Prescribed Time-Period, And A Busy Life Which Demands You Should Probably Be Doing Something Else, Somewhere Else, Involving Someone Else Could Be A Swerve Situation. Especially on A Lovely Summer’s Evening. But It Could Go Either Way To Be Fair. You Might Just Surprise Yourself.

Also Further Consider Altruism And Someone Else. By Buying A Book From A Local Book Store As Recommended By Their Book Club You Could Be Helping Out A Local Business. Or By Loaning A Book From A Local Library You Could Be Supporting Local Library Survival. In Both Cases You Could Be Boosting An Author’s Profile.

You May Even Be Contributing To Your Own Personal Growth In Terms of Communication Skills, Community Connections. Education. Enlightenment. Self-Empowerment. And Social Engagement. They Do Say ‘God Loves A Trier’!
