They Were Subsequently Arrested Monday June 22nd 2020, Charged With Misconduct In Public Office (Which They Admitted), Faced A Met Police Tribunal In November 2021 For Gross Misconduct, Dismissed From The MET, And Eventually Jailed For Two Years Nine Months In December 2021.
Dick Only Apologized For The Outrage On The Friday (June 26th 2020) After When They Were Arrested On The Monday (June 22nd 2020). She Said:
“I don’t know all the details but if it is as it appears to be then it is shocking,” “It is disgusting and the whole of the Met would condemn what has happened here. If those officers’ actions have added to the families’ unimaginable distress, then I apologize from the bottom of my heart.”
She Never Met With The Smallman Family At That Time, Only Meeting Them After A Damning The Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) Issued A Damning Report October 2021. It Suggested She Should Apologize (Directly).
The Bereaved Mother Told Channel Four News: “I Met With Cressida Dick But Her Job Was To Protect The Brand.” “There Needs To Be Someone Who Will Have Zero Tolerance.“
She Called For Dame Dick To Go Following The Damning IOPC Report October 2021 On The Investigation Into Her Daughters’ Being Reported Missing The Weekend of Friday June 5th – Sunday June 7th 2020. It Was So Incompetent That The Sisters Were Found By Friends And Family, Not The Police, Who Had Referred To One of The Sisters As ‘The Suspect’ Instead of ‘Missing Person’.
The Two Officers Were Arrested Monday June 22nd 2020 And The IOPC Confirmed It Had Launched An Investigation Into The Case, After Mrs Smallman Made A Complaint of Racial Stereotyping. She Said “If Ever We needed An Example of How Toxic It Has Become, those police officers felt so safe, so untouchable, that they felt they could take photographs of dead black girls and send them on.”
